1963. From New Albany Company’s website: “Leslie H. Wexner, founder of L Brands, started the company in Columbus, Ohio, in 1963 with one store and first-year sales of $160,000. Today, total sales for L Brands businesses exceed $12 billion… Mr. Wexner has a profound interest in the development of tomorrow’s leaders through the works of Harvard University’s Center for Public Leadership; the Wexner Foundation; and The Ohio State University. His areas of community interest include The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center; the Columbus Partnership; Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University; Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus; and the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, Columbus.”
“Co-founder and chairman of The New Albany Company, Jack Kessler is one of central Ohio’s most accomplished real estate developers and influential civic leaders. The developer of numerous residential communities across the country, Kessler’s commitment to the evolution of New Albany is both professional and very personal. Along with co-founder, Les Wexner, Kessler was among its first residents.”
1982. Lex Wexner acquires Victoria’s Secret.
March 12, 1983. FBI: Barry Seal’s 1980 Beechcraft N73WL is in Columbus, Ohio, removing electronic gear that was also previously installed in Columbus, Ohio. This information is from an FBI report on Barry Seal. Barry Seal and Southern Air Transport were involved in CIA drug trafficking operations. (Numerous sources- Google it).
March 6, 1985. Columbus Dispatch: Columbus, Ohio lawyer Arthur L. Shapiro is murdered. “Two bullets were fired point-blank into his head as he pounded on the door of a Northwest Side condo. Columbus accountant Berry L. Kessler had a motive and was convicted nearly a decade later in two unrelated murder-for-hire plots.” There is a public memo dated June 6, 1991 from Elizabeth A. Leupp, an analyst with Columbus, Ohio Police’s Organized Crime Bureau, on the murder of Arthur Shapiro. A few excerpts are below from The Shapiro Murder File by Bob Fitrakis.
August 8, 1985. Wexner demolishes Blythedunes, the Wrightsman estate home. “The Mediterranean-style mansion that billionaire clothier Leslie Wexner bought for $10 million wasn’t what he wanted, after all. The wrecking ball began cracking last Thursday. A pile of rubbish is all that remains of the venerable Wrightsman estate, built 54 years ago by Maurice Fatio, a successor of Addison Mizner, the architect who designed much of Palm Beach and Boca Raton. Palm Beach architect John B. Gosman, who has submitted preliminary plans for the new house, said it “will have sort of a lower profile than the existing one, mainly because of the height.”
Around 1986. Leslie Wexner hires Jeffrey Epstein to be his financial advisor.
1986. Lex Wexner and Jack Kessler start New Albany Company. “The New Albany Co. purchased more than 300 lots, Kessler said, dividing several into 1,800 smaller parcels for homes. About 1,400 Georgian-styled homes that have met specific design requirements have been built to date.” Epstein became heavily involved in the New Albany Company at some point. From the New York Times: “Mr. Epstein became deeply involved in Mr. Wexner’s upscale real-estate development in New Albany, about 15 miles outside Columbus. He set up shop in the same downtown Columbus skyscraper as Jack Kessler, the co-founder of the New Albany Company and one of Mr. Wexner’s close friends. Mr. Kessler declined to comment.” … “Mr. Epstein became ubiquitous in Ohio. His black book of contacts filled up with phone numbers with Columbus’s 614 area code.”
1988. Palm Beach Daily News: Wexner “sold the mostly vacant land in the 500 block of North County Road for $12 million to (Abe) Gosman, who then completed the mansion that Wexner had designed for the property.” The 62,000 square foot structure is named Maison de L’Amitie, or “House of Friendship.”
Late 1980s. New York Times: “In the late 1980s, Mr. Wexner started building Limitless, a 316-foot yacht. Mr. Epstein managed its construction and design, said Craig Tafoya, who captained Mr. Wexner’s ships for 15 years.” YachtCharterFleet: “The 315’9 / 96.25m Custom motor yacht motor yacht ‘Limitless’ was built by Lurssen in Germany at their Bremen shipyard, she was delivered to her owner in 1997 and last refitted in 2003.” “Cost/Value: $100 Million.” Note that the name “Limitless” is the opposite of the name “Limited” of Wexner’s Company. Epstein liked word plays. MC2 Models is Jean Luc-Brunel’s company, but Epstein reminded people that E (Epstein) equalled MC squared. E = MC2.
1989. NY Mag: “Epstein’ s current residence in Manhattan — a 45,000-square-foot eight-story mansion on East 71st Street — was originally bought by Wexner for $13 million in 1989.”
1991. MintPress News: “The Mega Group — a secretive group of billionaires to which Lauder belongs — was formed in 1991 by Charles Bronfman and Leslie Wexner, the latter of whom has received considerable media scrutiny following the July arrest of his former protege Jeffrey Epstein. These connections to both the Austrian government and to Epstein’s mentor make Lauder the most likely person to have acquired the document (Austrian passport with Saudi Arabia nationality) on Epstein’s behalf. Furthermore, Epstein and the Mega Group’s ties to the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, also suggest Lauder was involved in procuring the passport,…”
1991. Columbus Dispatch: “In 1991, Wexner made Epstein trustee of the Ohio Higher Education Trust, a philanthropic fund endowed with $230 million.”
June 1991. Freepress: The aforementioned report on Arthur Shapiro hits the press. “In June 1991, the document’s potentially explosive revelations caused Columbus Police Chief James G. Jackson to order the public record destroyed the same month it was completed. When confronted by Channel 4 News with the document last week, Jackson said, “I thought I got rid of it.” He termed the report “scandalous.””
July 30 1991. New York Times: Les Wexner gives Jeffrey Epstein his Power of Attorney.
1992. New York Times: Jeffrey Epstein bought a home built for Les Wexner and his wife (10,600-square-foot mansion) for 3.5 million in Wexner’s New Albany development.
“Early 90s.” Business Insider: Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother, “bought the units at 301 East 66th St. in the early 1990s from Les Wexner. This was an “Apt. for Models.” NY Mag: MC2, the modeling agency Epstein invested in, used the apartments to house overseas models. MC2’s founder, Jean-Luc Brunel, had an apartment there.
March 16, 1995. Bob Fitrakis: “Edmund James, president of James and Donohew Development Services, told the Columbus Dispatch that negotiations with Southern Air had begun “exactly one year ago today,” speaking at the March 16, 1995, press conference announcing that SAT was locating to Columbus. He let it be known that “much of the Hong Kong-to-Rickenbacker cargo will be for The Limited.” James said, “This is a big story for central Ohio. It’s huge, actually.” The day following the press conference, Brian Clancy, a cargo analyst with MergeGloban Inc., was quoted in the Journal of Commerce: “Limited Inc., the nation’s largest retailer, is based in Columbus, a fact that undoubtedly contributed in large part to Southern Air’s decision.” That same day, the Dispatch noted a meeting between Langton, Governor Voinovich and “other officials yesterday to discuss the air cargo carrier’s plans.” Governor Voinovich is quoted saying, “This will be a new window to the world for Ohio business… It will be a boon for exports.” Within a week, SAT announced it would be flying twice-weekly freighters from Hong Kong to Columbus on behalf of The Limited.”
From a 1990 paper: The Chinese laundry: International drug trafficking and Hong Kong’s banking industry: “Hong Kong — Britain’s Crown Colony in Asia — is reputed to be one of the world’s leading centers for the laundering of drug money. Located on the southeast coast of China, Hong Kong is not far from the Golden Triangle in Burma, Laos and Thailand, the source of much of the world’s heroin supply. Ethnic Chinese criminal organizations based in Hong Kong and elsewhere have long been involved in the refining, transporting and financing of Southeast Asian heroin. With its bank secrecy laws, its large and sophisticated international banking industry, and its complete absence of currency exchange controls, Hong Kong has all of the necessary components of a modern financial secrecy jurisdiction.” Or maybe Hong Kong really did need two weekly freighters of underwear. Who knows, right?
August, 1996. Vanity Fair: Dershowitz said he’d been friends with Epstein since 1996, when they were introduced at a party on Martha’s Vineyard by Lynn Forester de Rothschild. “She begged me to meet him. She told me, ‘here’s this smart academic.’” A few days later, Epstein invited Dershowitz to Les Wexner’s 59th birthday party at Wexner’s mansion in New Albany, Ohio. (Wexner was born Sept 8, thus the August estimated date).
Summer 1996. Maria Farmer is assaulted by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell at Lex Wexner’s mansion in New Albany, Ohio. Excerpt is from an affidavit of Maria Farmer in Virginia Giuffre v. Alan Dershowitz.
1997. Vocal Media: Les Wexner purchases the Foxcote House, in Warwickshire, England. In September, 2002 Epstein will meet with two United States Senators here and discuss the subject of invading Iraq.
1998. New York Times: “Entity linked to Wexner buys New Albany home back from Epstein for $8 million. Around the same time, Mr. Epstein, through a separate company, spent $7.95 million to buy Little St. James Island in the United States Virgin Islands, which would eventually become one of his primary residences. Mr. Epstein in 1998 also took sole possession of Mr. Wexner’s stone mansion on East 71st Street in New York. A person with knowledge of Mr. Wexner’s finances said that Mr. Epstein paid $20 million, although there are no publicly filed documents recording the transaction.”
August 31, 2002. Vocal Media: Johnny Vedmore: “Jeffrey Epstein and Nicole Junkermann landed at Birmingham Airport, located southeast of the United Kingdom’s second biggest city, on the afternoon of Saturday, August 31, 2002. Sunday September first was the perfect weather for such an occasion and the small group spent the day hunting. Later on that night Jeffrey Epstein would walk into the main house to greet the waiting senators with a girl on each arm. On his right arm was a dazzlingly beautiful brunette and on his left arm was the stunning Nicole Junkermann. The majority of the security men were moonlighting British police and the two guests who were the centre of attention were both sitting United States Senators. This very small gathering wouldn’t be all fun and games. America was on its way to war. In just over a weeks time it would be the first anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and exactly one month later Joint Resolution 114 would be voted on by those same senators. The vote to go to war with Iraq, based on a ‘dodgy dossier’ of exaggerated and manipulated information.” At the meeting between Jeffrey Epstein and the two United States Senators: “All the talk was about the invasion of Iraq.”
Sometime 2003. NY Mag: Jeffrey Epstein has a dinner in Manhattan attended by Les Wexner and other names you’ll recognize. NY Mag: “JEFFREY EPSTEIN dinner, East Side townhouse. Mort Zuckerman, Google co-founder Sergey Brin, David Blaine, Donald Trump, Leslie Wexner of the Limited, disgraced British Cabinet minister Peter Mandelson, Bill Clinton aide Doug Band. “I had rich shock!” one stunned guest says about Epstein’s house, which the owner claims is the largest private dwelling in the city. At a recent dinner organized by Ghislaine Maxwell, Blaine amused a group of barely clad models with card tricks. Alas, Clinton—around whom the evening had been organized—never showed, though his Secret Service would have appreciated Epstein’s numerous security cameras.”
March 20, 2003. The United States invades Iraq.
April 2003. Harvard.edu: Talking points research commissioned by the Wexner Foundation are finalized by the “Luntz Research Companies and the Israel Project.” to encourage support for the United State’s war with Iraq. The full document is linked. A few screenshots of Page 1 and 2 are below. Wikipedia: “The study was marked, “Not for distribution or publication” and was leaked to Newsweek online.
2004. Miami Herald: Ehud Barak received $2.5 million from the Wexner Foundation in 2004 for research. Epstein was a member of that foundation.
November 15, 2004. Washington Post: Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein bid on Abe Grosman’s Maison de L’Amitie estate in Palm Beach, after Gosman declared bankruptcy. Vice: Donald Trump called Jeffrey Epstein twice and left messages in November 2004. This is a heated bid that Donald Trump seems to refer to when he said on July 9, 2019: “I had a falling out with him a long time ago, I don’t think I’ve spoken to him for 15 years. I wasn’t a fan…I was not a fan of his…I feel very badly actually for Secretary Acosta.” Trump won the bid and paid $41.35 million. Later Trump sells Maison de L’Amitie to Dmitry Rybolovlev at a profit.
November 28, 2004: Washington Post: “On Nov. 28, 2004 — less than two weeks after the mansion auction — Palm Beach police fielded a tip that young women were seen coming and going from Epstein’s home, then-Police Chief Michael Reiter said in a deposition. Reiter declined to comment.”
May 14, 2008. White House: “President George W. Bush today announced the designation of an U.S. Honorary Delegation to attend celebrations in honor of the 60th Anniversary of the State of Israel on May 14-15, 2008 in Jerusalem.” Lex Wexner is among them.
July 15, 2008. Chicago Tribune: Donald Trump sells Maison de L’Amitie to Dmitry Rybolovlev for $95 million.
July 1, 2012. Bossip: Mitt Romney gets a campaign donation from Lex Wexner, and spoke of going to Wexner’s home in Columbus, OH. ““Some of you know Les Wexner,” Romney told his audience. “He owns Victoria’s Secret, among a number of other enterprises. He has a very, very large home,” Romney said. “I remarked to Les, ‘Never has so little fabric bought so big a house.’” Telegraph: Also note that Robert Maxwell was an original investor in Mitt Romney’s Bain Capital.
March 2016. Palm Beach Daily News. “The Town of Palm Beach Architectural Commission approved the demolition (of Maison de L’Amite March 2016).” My thoughts: The thing about this property is, being formerly owned by Les Wexner, it just may have had some blackmail material created there. This material may not have been limited to digital images. Pursuing this theory, whatever proof there was there, Donald Trump got it in 2004. Russia got it in 2008, and removed any remaining evidence on the grounds in 2016 during Trump’s campaign for the White House.
