JAMES Franco was sensationally branded “rapey” by Johnny Depp today as he was dragged into the actor’s explosive showdown trial.
Depp made the shocking claim after Franco allegedly made advances towards Amber Heard during their time on film Pineapple Express.

He is also accused of branding Heard a “go-getting s**t” who liked “getting f***ed” during a furious plane bust-up where he chucked ice cubes at her.
Depp told the High Court he was “shocked” when Heard had agreed to make the 2015 film The Adderall Diaries with Franco because she had made “negative” comments about working with him in the past.
He added: “She told me many things that were very very negative about Mr Franco, that he had tried to kiss her and made sexual advances towards her on the previous film they had made together.
“She said he was a creep and a rapist. She said he was quite aggressive in his advances towards her.”
Sasha Wass, representing The Sun at the libel trial, asked if she had used that word and whether Depp had “made it up on the spot”.
She told him: “You have made an extremely important statement just now.”

She has accused Depp of attacking her, which he denies[/caption]
Depp replied: “It’s just a word that came out for the actions of Mr Franco, as described to me by Ms Heard, which were sexual advances, him leaning over and saying I’m going to kiss you.
“She had to sort of run from the advances at one point, that he was kind of non-stop, she felt he was creepy and rapey so I said a rapist.”
Depp then said he was “uncomfortable” with two working together.
He was also accused of flying into a rage after accusations Heard had cheated on him with Pineapple Express co-star Franco during the flight from Boston to LA in 2014.
The High Court heard how made “vulgar references to [Ms Heard’s] genitalia” and called her a “go-getter s**t” in front of crew members.
Sasha Wass, representing The Sun at the libel trial, told Depp: “You were in a blind rage, demanding to know how much she liked getting off with James Franco.
“You were so angry that she wouldn’t engage with you in this discussion that you slapped her.”
The court was also told Heard “moved seats more than once” to get away from Depp on the plane as he hurled ice cubes at her.
He then stormed into the bathroom and passed out drunk on the floor, it was said.
But Depp denied hitting Heard and said he didn’t call his then-wife any of the names read out in court today.
He said: “There are possibilities where that kind of thing might come out of my mouth depending on what came out of her mouth prior, but I did not go into a rage on the flight in front of all these people.”
After the plane journey, Depp had text his close pal, actor Paul Bettany, to reveal he had pounded half a bottle of whiskey, 1,000 Red Bulls and two bottles of champagne on the flight.
The shocking claims were made on day two of Depp’s evidence at the Hollywood blockbuster trial where the actor is suing The Sun for referring to him as a “wife beater” in a 2018 article.
Depp was yesterday accused of turning his “rage and frustration” on Heard, 34, when he “failed to control” his drug and alcohol abuse.
He “descended into physically destructive behaviour” – causing him to refer to his “drunken and violent persona as ‘the monster’”, it was said.
But in a series of explosive revelations Depp made during evidence yesterday, the star branded Heard’s abuse allegations “complete lies”.
And he called his ex-wife “calculating, sociopathic and emotionally dishonest” as he lifted the lid on their tumultuous relationship.
Depp told the court Heard severed his finger during a trip to Australia in 2015 by throwing a vodka bottle at him and accused her of repeatedly punching him in the face.
