Families of couple found dead in suitcase by teens making a TikTok video offer $10K reward for arrest

A FAMILY is searching for the killer of a couple whose remains were found in a suitcase by teens making a TikTok on a Seattle beach.

The family of Jessica Lewis, 35, and her long-time boyfriend, Austin Wenner, 25, are offering a $10,000 reward as they seek for the killer responsible in the couple’s death last month.

Graphic video shared on TikTok showed a group of teens as an exploring app – called Randonautica – led them to a beach, where they discovered a black suitcase.

Text in the video said the teens joked that the suitcase might have money inside – but when they opened it, it had a horrible “overwhelming” smell.

Video showed a black garbage bag inside the suitcase.

The teens then called police – and the video showed cop cars and firetrucks as the area was turned into a crime scene.

King County Medical Examiner said the couple were shot days before their remains were found on the beach, KIRO reported.

A GoFundMe organized by the families said both deaths have been ruled homicides.

Gina Jaschke, Lewis’ aunt, told KING5 she launched the GoFund Me in aims to raise the reward money.

“Whether it’s out of their heart they turn somebody in, or out of the cash, it doesn’t matter as long as somebody is held accountable for this,” Jaschke said.

The GoFundMe described Jessica and Cash as “good -hearted people.”

“She leaves behind 4 beautiful children,” the GoFundMe said of Jessica.

“Their parents and family are heartbroken beyond words. Along with countless friends and loved ones.

“Somebody knows something, and whoever helps solved this case will receive the money raised for their reward,” the GoFundMe continued.

Jaschke told KIRO she wants “somebody to pay for what they’ve done.”

A Seattle police spokesperson told KING5 the case is “under very active investigation.”

The spokesperson did not say if there were any suspects in the incident, however.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Seattle Police Department’s Violent Crimes tip line at 206-233-5000.
