INJURED Luke Shaw sat in the passenger seat as he was driven into Manchester United’s Carrington training base today.

And Shaw was forced to miss Thursday’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was hoping he would be fit for Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.
But Shaw will not be in the team playing at Wembley tomorrow.
Indeed, his ankle injury appears to be quite serious as he required a lift to Carrington on Saturday, hinting that he is in too much discomfort to even drive.

Solskjaer admitted Shaw’s absence is a blow, but the Norwegian is hoping Brandon Williams can return after also missing the Palace match with a head injury sustained against Southampton.
That’s despite the youngster arriving at Carrington with a bruised and bloodshot black eye.
Williams’ inclusion would also mean Timothy Fosu-Mensah drops out of the side despite impressing against the Eagles.
Solskjaer told United’s official website: “Luke will be out. I can’t see him recovering.
“Brandon will hopefully be okay, he’ll try to join in training today with his eye.
“We’ll see if he can see the ball when he comes in. He should be fine.”
United face a tough game against Chelsea tomorrow.
But they have become a goal-scoring force to be reckoned with since the restart thanks to sticking with the same group of players.
However, Solskjaer admits places are still up for grabs in his team, giving hope to the likes of Jesse Lingard and usual cup goalie Sergio Romero.

Ole added: “I’d rather have this game than not have it.
“We can’t say it [the scheduling] has been unkind, it is what it is.
“And when you get the opportunity to play a semi-final, you’ll squeeze that in even if you have to play on the same day.”
