The 31-year-old’s contract situation has prompted suggestions he would be off this summer with interest from Barcelona and Inter Milan.
SunSport previously reported that Arsenal have been working hard to get an extension finalised on Aubameyang’s fresh terms.

The Gabon international is said to have verbally agreed to sign a new three-year deal worth £250,000-per-week.
And Aubameyang dropped several hints over his future during an Instagram Live with his brother Willy.
The striker said: “Everyone is showing the pen & paper [emoji] but I still don’t have the papers bruv!”
Aubameyang then took things one step further by mimicking agreeing a contract before explaining to his brother that he was “signing da ting.”
As Arsenal’s Player of the Year signed off the video, he added: “Have a good night, enjoy and hopefully great news for everybody.”

One fan replied: “Arsenal need to sort it out he clearly wants to stay.”
Another added: “Well that’s the worst news I’ve heard all week.”
But a third claimed: “He definitely has signed. He wouldn’t talk like that unless there was.”
Aubameyang has dropped plenty of hints in recent weeks on social media that he will commit his future to the club.
They include his not-so-subtle ‘blink if you’re gunna sign’ moment on an Instagram live, his dad and brother’s social media messages, and tweeting an emoji of an hourglass.
Though fans will now be forced to keep waiting for Aubameyang to officially put pen to paper after he headed off on holiday.
He jetted off on a last-minute break to Milan with his brother and wife Alysha Behague.
The Italian city is familiar to the former Borussia Dortmund ace who spent three years at AC Milan before joining Saint-Etienne.
Though Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be expecting Aubameyang back in London ahead of the Community Shield clash with Liverpool next weekend.
New signing Willian, who will be hoping to make his Gunners debut at Wembley, also joined fans in urging his new teammate stays at the club.
The winger told SunSport: “I joined Arsenal because we can challenge for titles but Pierre will be a big part of the plan.
