DONALD Trump’s “voter fraud” hotline has been bombarded with prank calls and porn from “left teens” and comics, reports say.

The phone service, set up to uncover evidence of criminal activity at voting centres, has turned into a “nightmare”, sources have said.

Donald Trump’s ‘voter fraud’ hotline is being hammered by prank callers, it has been reported[/caption]

According to ABC, staff at Trump’s campaign headquarters in Virginia have been answering “prank calls from people laughing or mocking them over Biden’s win before hanging up”.

They have also been fielding calls from “lefty teenagers” and “dealing with some disturbing unsolicited adult images”, aides have told Axios.

This comes after President Trump’s team has launched legal battles in up to 10 states after he claimed the election, won by Joe Biden, was “fraudulent”.

His son Eric alleged on Twitter that the Democratic Party was behind the crank calls – without offering any evidence for the claim.

Some Twitter users – including Trump critic and ex-Republican strategist Rick Wilson – appeared to encourage users to keep the lines jammed with joke calls.

One prank posted on social media features a caller claiming to see “an obese turtle” at a polling station – in a reference to CNN host Anderson Cooper’s description of Trump.

Comedian Alex Hirsch also posted a recording in which he tells a hotline staffer that he saw the McDonald’s “hamburglar” visiting a voting count with a bag full of swag.

Another comic rang the service asking for Trump’s lawyer Rudi Giuliani claiming to have found an envelope full of “100,000 ballots” from Pennsylvania dumped in his fire pit.

A Trump campaign spokesman said the “fraud” hotline has been “very effective”, reports The Hill.

Meanwhile, Trump wants to hold a series of rallies to brandish the obituaries of dead people he claims voted for Biden, it’s been reported.

Last night it was reported the Trump campaign was readying itself for a full-scale battle over the ballot result.

“We want to make sure we have an adequate supply of manpower on the ground for man-to-man combat,” one adviser told Axios.

It was claimed one proposed plan is to disclose the details of dead people the Trump team claims voted for his rival during last week’s election.

The aides see them as “specific pieces of evidence” which will back up their claims of widespread voter fraud and corruption.

The president is also said to be forming “a campaign-style media operation” to promote his so-far unproven allegations.

However, Philadelphia’s Republican commissioner has branded Trump’s voter fraud claims as “deranged”.

Al Schmidt, one of three commissioners who oversaw the election in the city, also claimed his staff have received death threats after President-elect Joe Biden won the state.

In an interview with 60 Minutes, Schmidt said he was shocked at the accusations made against him and his team.

He said: “From the inside looking out, it feels all very deranged.

“At the end of the day we are counting eligible votes, cast by voters.

“The controversy surrounding it is something I don’t understand.”

Last night Axios reported the Trump campaign was mobilizing its troop for war.

One advisor said: “We want to make sure we have an adequate supply of manpower on the ground for man-to-man combat.”

Why Trump is taking his election battle to court

Trump has filed lawsuits in Pennsylvania, Georgia and Michigan to demand better access for Republican observers to locations where ballots are being counted.

A statement from the campaign said in Michigan that they haven’t been given “meaningful access to numerous counting locations to observe the opening of ballots and the counting process, as guaranteed by Michigan law.”

The Georgia lawsuit filed in Chatham County essentially asks a judge to ensure the state laws are being followed on absentee ballots

The Trump campaign also filed a lawsuit to intervene in a Pennsylvania case at the Supreme Court that deals with whether ballots received up to three days after the election can be counted.

A spokesman for Trump’s team said: “This is the most important election of our lifetime, and President Trump made clear our path forward last night: ensure the integrity of this election for the good of the nation.

“Bad things are happening in Pennsylvania. Democrats are scheming to disenfranchise and dilute Republican votes. President Trump and his team are fighting to put a stop to it.”

Separately in Nevada, GOP lawyers had already launched legal challenges involving absentee votes in Nevada, specifically contesting local decisions.
