Who is Tina Green?

Cristina “Tina” Green was born in England and is a businesswoman based in Monaco.

Green owns Taveta Investments Ltd. with more than 75 per cent of shares.

Taveta Investments is the parent company of Arcadia Group Ltd, and through Arcadia, Cristina and tycoon husband Philip Green own Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge and other British retailers.

Lady Green also has an interior design firm, Green and Mingarelli Design.

Philip is her second husband as she was previously married to jazz drummer Robert Palos, with whom she had two children – Stasha Palos and Brett Palos.

She met Sir Philip in 1985 while running a clothing boutique in Knightsbridge called Harabels and the couple married in 1990.

The couple have two children, Chloe and Brandon.

What is Tina Green’s net worth?

Tina Green’s net worth was estimated to be around £2billion.

In 2006, the Greens were reportedly the UK’s fifth richest people with an estimated fortune of £4.9bn, according to the Sunday Times rich list for that year.

But since then their fortune has got smaller.

In the latest edition of the rich list, published in May, they were estimated to be worth around £930m.

On Monday, November 30, 2020, Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia retail empire fell intro administration, putting 13,000 jobs at risk.

Where do the Greens live?

The Greens moved to Monaco – which is considered a tax haven due to lax personal and business taxation laws.

When Philip moved back to the UK in 2000, Tina remained in Monaco.

She now spends all her time there as a “working wife”, while her husband splits his time between the two locations.

In Monaco, she lives the life of luxury. She regularly travels on the family’s 109-ft yacht Lionheart, worth £100million, with her white pedigree dog in tow.

“I am fortunate to live on a yacht six months of the year. In that respect I have an edge,” Tina previously said.

In 2016, Monaco-based Tina Green defended the decision to base the companies behind the couple’s retail empire in Jersey and the British Virgin Islands.
