LOCKDOWN has seen a huge increase in people taking on the challenge of a home DIY project, with many of us spending more of our time indoors.
One thrifty woman recently transformed a bedroom into a dressing room with low price items from B&M and Dunelm – and the result is stunning.
From the ‘before’ pics, we can see she had a big task on her hands[/caption]
Posting in Facebook group B&M Bargains and More, she shared some incredible before-and-after snaps from her budget home improvement project.
She captioned the pictures of her handiwork, “A few of you were asking and waiting to see the transformation so here it is! Dressing room complete!”
“Dalmatian spots I hand painted on myself, which took days! But totally worth it!”
The woman added details on where she bought some of the homeware items she picked, “Gold decorative hanging mirrors from B&M came at just over £5 each. Neon heart light is from Dunelm £15.
She painted the Dalmatian feature wall by hand[/caption]
“Dressing table was from Amazon, it was an early Christmas present. Velvet plush stool is from The Range £25.
“The pink/purple I used on the walls is Dulux – Dusted Fondant in silk.”
The post soon attracted loads of comments from people praising her for her eye for interior design, with one simply saying, “This is everything.”

A second commented, “Beautifully chosen, nice have a relaxing space”.
Another said they thought the painted Dalmatian wall was wallpaper when they first saw it.
She has certainly created a sleek and stylish dressing room with use of understated animal print, gold hardware and a cute hanging succulent.
The inviting space has a mix of textures from the soft velvet of the stool to the plush carpet underfoot, and the neon heart light adds light and ambiance.
