Cocoa House

Cocoa House, completed in 1965 at a height of 105 metres, was once the tallest building in Nigeria and the first skyscraper in West Africa. It is located in Dugbe, a major commercial area in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. It was built from proceeds of Agricultural commodities (e.g., Cocoa, Rubber, Timber) of the then Western State of Nigeria.

A national monument for that matter how I wished this present political leaders would have such a foresight an institution that they would be remembered for long after they have existed political scene but reverse is the case to grab political power at all cost either by crook or fear means I praise the intuition of our past political leaders who left sth behind (institutions) worth celebrating

  2. Hmm! As concieved by our visionary leaders. I pray Nigeria would once ag- ain av such selfless leaders that will rebuild this great nation from this present ashes ruins.
